The story revolves around Kira, who is a Co-ordinator and is ironically siding the Naturals. Gundam Seed's got everything that I look for in an anime show. From love story to horrific battles, Gundam Seed's got it all. I would seriously like to write one very long review for this serie when I have the time later. Gundam Seed, in my opinion, is a must watch anime show.

Now this show is bad for a number a reasons. First SEED destroyes the symbol that is the "Gundam". Yes the Gundam is a high end mobile suit however the portayal they give it in SEED is that it is invisible (which it isn't). Also making more then one gundam defeats the purpose of the Gundam. The Gundam is a symbol of resistance against tyranny and opression. The second reason why this show spits in the face of the gundam sieres is because of the whole Coordinator vs Natural thing that is complete bull****. In SEED they have turned it into anti genetic altering war which is not what gundam is. Gundam started off with some of the colonies wanting to break away from the federation. The rebels consisting of both new types(in SEED terms coordinators) and old types (naturals). It was never a war where one side had more new types the old types (well there was more old types because not everyone was born a new type). Third the story was unoriginal this was copy of the original gundam (very poorly done) with more gundams flashier graphics. Hell they even got a Char wannabe. However this show isn't terrible. I mean its better then air gear, post freeza DBZ, Yuyu Hakasho, Inyuasha, and other bad shounan and sport anime... So i crown this show the best of the worst. In other words as my friend put it "I consider [Gundam] SEED a pile of **** that has been covered in a Van Gogh painting. It's stinky and smelling, but looks appeasing to the eye"

The story is a bit poor, since it copies the orginal series and wasted time with clip shows and poorly character development. Some characters are pretty useless( Kuzzey, Sai).

I disagree that this is a good series. The beginning of SEED is just a copy of the original series(what's good about that?), but eventually the story goes to its own path. I would think the ending will be different, but the truth is that it is just a replay of the end of the original series, zeta gundam and the movie gundam F91. It also has a rushed feel because "clip show'em all Fuduka" wasted lots of time in pointless clip shows and flashbacks. He also wasted lots of time on poorly character development eposides. He paddled out the main story just to develop character, so some eposides had nothing interesting and important. Overall, this series is disapontting and doesn't have an epic ending like the original series, Zeta Gundam, Victory Gundam, G Gundam, and Turn A Gundam. Let's hope the future Gundam series do better.
