Takemoto Yuuta, Mayama Takumi, and Morita Shinobu are college students who share the small apartment. Even though they live in poverty, the three of them are able to obtain pleasure through small things in life. The story follows these characters' life stories as poor college students, as well as their love lives when a short but talented 18 year old girl called Hanamoto Hagumi appears. (taken from AnimeNewsNetwork) the theme of the story is mostly about finding one's self and finding his/her purpose in life. this is really a great anime. it's really touching and can be sad at times, but it's really funny too. it's a must see XD

all of the characters are exceptional. each one is trying their way in life and love.

the music was good, i like the sound track better though. the opening was good and cute, but isn't something i would listen to on the daily bases.

what can i say, there really isn't anything to complain about the art. i thought it was good, but it isn't one of those exceptionally great animation, but you shouldn't let that bother you.

Honey and Clover got everything you can ask for in a shoujo anime. It has interesting characters, excellent music and wonderful story. The only fault it has is that it was too short...One of the best series of all times!
