Anybody watch this and feel extremely sad at the end of this? I almost felt some tears coming out at the end. To me, Tsukihime is the best anime hands down. :)
I give 100% effort. 14% on Monday, 21% on Tuesday, 28% on Wednesday, 27% on Thursday, and 10% on Friday. Isn't that 100%?

Anime took up all that extra effort... :)

NOOOOOOOO!!! Doushiyo what are you saying???!!!

The anime is so sht compared to the game.

It was an average game as well. Sort of a 'screw around with the original novel' with graphics.

Play Melty Blood. The world needs more MBAC players.

MB is a different story. It's an awesome doujin game which was so good that it even made it to the arcades and ps2.

hmmmm...... about MBAC, do alot of people jump around alot? The damn fuking Korean do and it's so noobish and annoying plus with their no life same combo that does sht all.

Yeah, I agree that the game was much, much better. But, I also thought the anime wasn't that bad either.

I liked it when it came out. However I've grown to like other shows better since. The ending battle sequence was cool though, and I still think this show had great music.

It doesn't always work though Dammit.

The Tsukihime anime is brilliant as far as I'm concerned because it succeeds in being an anime. Something that often happens with game-to-anime adaptations is they try too hard to be everything the game was. The Tsukihime anime, on the other hand, stands on its own two feet.

For comparison see Fate/Stay Night anime.

I can agree that as a stand alone work, the anime worked. The problem I have with it is that after I've been introduced to the full story, it comes off as really shallow, although I guess they were pretty limited by the length of the show. It's just lame that they barely touch on Ciel even, and she's a pretty main character. We learn nothing about Kohaku and Hisui, Akiha is portrayed as a villain, and I don't even remember Len being in the anime...

Back to Nanaya though... yeah people jump around a lot, although it's character specific mostly. Lot's of people have very good jumping attacks and few people have a good anti-air attack. Some character's have a hard time getting in on the ground, because of having crapy dashes ect. Miyako, Len, and Satsuki all rely on superjumps to get in, and have great air to air normals to boot. As for crapy combos, I don't see why they would do crapy combos.... MBAC combos are pretty easy, until you get up to air dashing to add extra hits and shit, but really. launcher > j.b j.c double jump j.b j.c airthrow is pretty damn easy.

Yep that's what i'm talking about lift than jump and B,C double jump and C,B then grab. the most lamest combo for both shiki and pretty much anyone but for some reason that combo does decent damage in the arcade. I haven't seen any do a decent ground combo, always turns to a air after 2 or 3 hits. A cool fast 6 hit combo that does 8000 in the computer (Nanaya)does like 4500 in the arcade. I don't like the damage system of MBAC.

The anime. I thought I wasted my money, only cause kragamuffin had the direct dl <_< . About Len I don't think appears in the game at all. I believe she appears in the one after Tsukihime, not sure what it's called. However people, don't mix Melty Blood with Tsukihime anime, especially, or the game. One stupid thing alot of people get mixed up is the Tohno and Nanaya. Surposed to be the same person but the anime screws that thing up bad and makes it two different people.

Haha, I can tell why people mix up the Tohno and Nanaya. xD Anyways, playing the game/visual novel first is, in my opinion, better than just watching the anime. The visual novel clears many other things that are left out in the anime.
