I think everyone should watch minda game.... it's an expierence.

Taboo Charming Mother was a joke, but if your male and like hentai it's worth a look. :ph43r:

weee!! first post on here ^_^

hi, i was wondering, its a simple question, is there an anime/manga that i can look into?
-similar to GTO or city hunter
-something along themes similar to them?
-serious/but with comedy added in

i know those are kinda oldies (well maybe not gto, but ch is), but after a recent vacation back to tw, reading my uncles manga collection got me excited

You could try:
*Black Lagoon (I can't remember what the final verdict on this was, was liked at least in the beginning)
*Bubblegum Crisis (Same period as CH)
*Getbackers (Somewhat younger audiences)
*Hajime no Ippo
*Sakigake Cromartie Koukou
*School Rumble
*Sugoiyo Masaru-san (Not terribly serious at all)

and don't forget Angel Heart for the continuation of City Hunter :o

Full Metal Panic! - serious/but with comedy added in

Ebichu - for raunchy humor, maybe Golden Boy as well.

Gokusen is like the female version of GTO, though I didn't like the anime so much, but I thought the live action version was really good.

Live action GTO is pretty enjoyable too.

You're Under Arrest! for something old school

If you like GTO, watch the movie "187" with Sam L. Jackson. That movie is the best Teacher helping troubled kids movie.

i'm looking fior something new to watch right now. there are 3 types of animes i like to see 1 being mecha, 2 ninja type, and 3 being something with killing demons. here is a list of the animes i have seen so every1 can get a better idea of what i'm looking for as a suggestion to watch.

mecha

gundam(every gundam out there)
van dread
escaflowne
neon genisis
nadesco
full metal panic
gigantic formula
eureka 7
super robot wars divine war
code geass
reideen
tekkaman blade
gasaraki
zone of the enders
CANDIDATE FOR GODDESS

Ninja

bleach
naruto
Samurai Deeper Kyo
samurai 7
Basilisk
dragon ball, Z, Gt
Yu Yu Hakusho
Inuyasha
Final Fantasy Advent children
Steetfighter
jojo bizzare adventure
fatal fury
ninja scroll
ninja scroll resurrection
tekken
crying freeman
fist of the north star

demon/slayer

Trinity Blood
claymore
darker then black
dgray man
devilmay cry
death note
legand of the overfiend
hellsing
berserk

ok thats all i can think of off my head of anime that i happened to really like so there are some i did forget to mention that i dont remember that i should have put up there..if any1 can list animes like the ones i posted i would be very thankful. its hard these days to find new good anime to watch. i'm not really fond of all the kitty type anime out there at all i like action and lots of it. the more blood and fighting and robots there are the more i like it.

banner of the stars (all of them) *no mecha, but worth a watch
chrono crusade
ghost in the shell (series and movies)
kemonozume
saikano
samurai champloo
overman king gainer
nightwalker

if you took the limits of mecha, ninja, demon slayer off, i could recommend some non-kiddy stuff that's good.

@darknatas

You might like Zegapain and RahXephon as far as mecha shows go.

Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto was pretty good and had a demon/slayer element to it.

tired today, cant think of any others! <_<

I was wondering if Zombie Loan was terrible or worth watching? I saw the first episode and didn't care for it, but i do not have much else to watch.

I finished this show a little while ago and liked it. Kind of original but way too short imo.
