Well there are novels of FMP im pretty sure they will continue the series. As the final episode of TSR was kind of well... it doesnt cover all of it up.

They're continuing the books, which the anime was, obviously, based off of. The new ones are out in Japan, so it's likely there's gonna be a 4th season.

$20 on the line.

Seriously, no kidding. It's like, here's this organization where the leader is the older brother of the Captain, and has mini-armor slaves, and they arrange for bad stuff to happen, and seem to be the source of the Venoms. But the series is over, so you don't need to worry about that part. Bye now! So yeah, fourth season is a surefire bet. I mean, if they have new material to use, so that the same story isnt being dragged out, who am I to say no to more of my #1 favorite anime series. Plus there's the Full Metal Panic Overload Manga which is a lot like FMP Fumoffu, so I could see this being inserted in between the next serious portion of the series. The possibilities....are limitless!

Rumors are BAD. *deja-vu*

I have patience to wait. They'll likely release 4th in Q2 or Q3 next year in J. But that's just supposing.

That's my biggest bitch about anime in general--they rarely give "real" endings for fear of killing off a series that might still be profitable.

Hopefully, if there's another FMP season, they'll let the plot move along more rapidly, and then put it down properly while it's still a good show...

WHy not? the novels are awesome reads! I'm really enjoying reading them. Just as fun as the anime, but each in their own way.

The novels/manga always have more info in them than the anime.

This is true, but the anime has been faithful to the books to a decently reasonable extent, and so I don't want the anime to wrap things up in some made-up ending while the books are still running just to "be finished with it." B/c what happens when you wrap something like that up prematurely, you always get a crappy ending (just look at all the anime that ends before it's manga predecessor does.....like Kare Kano......you get a crappy ending).

I say let the FMP! anime follow the long story faithfully and when the novels end, then the anime should end there (at that place in the story) as well.

Depending on how well the series is supported by fans, there will be a 4th season like forever from now.

I don't remember where I got the link for the manga/novels, but check Box Torrents, they'll probably have it somewhere.

ummm...i agree with munto tho...fumoffu is just plain filler, if you're talking about real solid plot structure that's the first season and TSR =P and I love the novel, can't wait for the 3rd season....cuz i know there should be one!!! I can see that the anime tries to follow the novel as much as possible unlike the manga which is...very slightly different =D

To me fumoffu was it's own series by itself...
