This goes in Whining Place for the level of emo.

Image

About seventeen minutes later, this guy shot himself in the head, in his bathroom. Currently, his parents are working to sue MySpace, half the Internet is laughing about him, YTMND.com has made tonnes of parodies based on this, and his profile has been hacked a few times.

Hundreds of parodies.

The original parody.

As a note, his account has been logged in a bit since his death, since the police have gone on to investigate.

I'm not laughing :(

it's weird how most of the internet populace is now made up of the sort of idiots who used to play football/rugby and bully skinny emo fags who liked computers... now skinny emo fags are on the internet and bully other skinny emo fags whilst still thinking themselves superior to football jocks. It's bizarre and weird.

and yeah.. I think I've seen a similar story before somewhere. a hundred times maybe.

Yeah, it's old, but the parodies are great.

And it's not really that weird. Their point of superiority wasn't a moral one. It was a "well, im smarter than you and ou'll be bagging my groceries" mentality.

either.

Someone is dead. Even if he was the biggest moron of the universe, still, someone is dead.

Call me a coward or whatever but I don't want to feel the slightest bit of guiltyness about someone's death just because I didn't dare not to laugh with the crowd.

I can't respect anyone that would commit suicide. Hmm. That's all I have to say.

You laugh because you're behind the safety of your computer screen. Had you known the person, you probably would not consider this funny at all.

Those retards who decided to make fun of him probably have no idea what he went through on the way to making his decision. Contrary to popular trolling, I highly doubt that people who commit suicide do it for stupid reasons.

You can call it a casualty of the internet or whatever you like, but to me it says something unflattering when humanity is willing to laugh at something like this.

it is weird though
I don't feel at all remorseful about him being dead. same with all the faceless crowd in all the war zones and famine zones worldwide o-o it doesn't really hit me, but I don't like to laugh about it .. in fact, I disapprove when others do. time paradox.

I don't think it's a paradox.

I'm not in mourning for people I don't know (though children can make me cry). But I can't laugh about it. It's not sadness, it's just... hum... respect ? or aknowledgement of others' pain ?

I don't really know but a lot of people share that paradox.

Well I'am sure that the majority of people don't laugh because of empathy, most of us have loved or have lost someone precious wether it be by death or other means. I don't think anyone would find it funny if you laughed in the face of their grief. Human life is sacred and it's never funny when someone dies.

That being said I recently had a good friend that passed away a month back at 23 years old....I would have been pissed if someone made a joke over the circumstances of his death.

But does anyone really believe MySpace is at fault?

Personally, I find the idea laughable.

Anybody who commits suicide loses all respect in my eyes. I don't give a shit who that person was. The only people I can exempt are those who live with excruciating pain and would rather not live their life drugged up, choosing a lesser evil.

This loser killed himself over a break up. Nope, ain't having it. And for your information, five people I knew in high school killed themselves and I hated every single one of them for it. Idiots, the lot of them.

Im really indifferent about other people, especially people who I don't know. But this, is ridiculous. Emo fag used a smiley to announce his suicide. So spare me while I continue to laugh it up. He's pathetic and receives no sympathy from me, regardless of empathy.

Oh, and personally, I think the world is overcrowded as it is, so forgive me if I'm actually glad that people are doing something to fix it.

the whole i blame <product> is so stupid and i cant see how its gone on so long

for example

take the amount of people who have killed or committed a crime as a result of playing <game x>

now take the number of people who have played <game x> and never lifted a finger against anyone as a result of playing the game

the first figure will pale in comparison to the second and so surely the problem is the person who plays the game over the game itself

still dont think this is the case? then let me ask you how many people a year die from second hand smoke? are cigerette companies blamed here or the smoker themselves? mostly in my experience the smoker (not that i have anything against smokers themselves unless they are inconsiderate to others)

True I've been playing violent games and watching violent movies my whole life, and never once have I had the urge to do anything as a result. People should realize that games and movies are FAKE (excluding documentaries, and biographies of course) and that unless the person playing/watching them is unbalanced to begin with they won't just go randomly kill.

That's the logical Fallacy of Composition there.
-an inference is mistakenly drawn from the attributes of the parts of a whole, to the attributes of the whole.

Lucky's dead horse would be useful here because I don't think anybody in BU blamed the forum or its members about that death. It takes much more than that to do it I think.

Now, I personnaly think that such a huge grudge towards people who commited suicide is strange.
