Man, I’m sooooo F’cking pissed of at my scooter yet again.

Took it in for normal service today, however something called the ‘bearing’ (sp.>?) in the gearbox thingy had busted and they quoted me an estimated repair cost of $500!!! F’UCK, F’UCK, F’UCK!!!!! Oh, yeah, plus that the service and cost of repair parts for today itself came to a total of $220...rather than the normal $78...o_O...I fucking told them to keep the bloody shitty thing for now and that I call them back on Monday to discuss what I want to do about it...

My thoughts right now is that I should just get a sledgehammer, let my frustration out on the scooter, scrap it and grind it into a little plastic/metal ball and feed it to the owners of the TGB brand (Had massive problems and repair cost associated with this scooter since I bought it new in October 2 years ago...). Too bad that the scooter is still incapacitated over at the workshop...

Besides for not actually having the money needed for the repairs in any case, I also just renewed the rego and insurance on the scooter last week and that would be another $300 utterly wasted...I’ve totally had it with my scooter, I’m totally pissed off and I’m now reverted back to walking and taking the bus, which is absolutely shitters...just NEVER EVER BUY A SCOOTER, NEVER< NEVER< NEVER. I’m definitely not having a good day and whining about did not seem to make things any better

they are shit. Your mechanics are also shit for doing $220 of work instead of the normal.

instead of smashing it though, perhaps you could sell it so someone you don't like.

Yeah, I actually thought that they were legally required to notify you if they were doing repairs that exceeds 10% of the set fee... Bloody mechanics...When a girl comes in with a scooter they prb think that they can easily fool her with some mechanical bullshit anyway...which they unfortunately can do perfectly well in my case

Lol well... is it illegal to put bombs in scooters before taking them in for service? Since you have no mechanical knowledge, Shira (and wow, you're a girl?) you might be able to get away with saying to the judge, "well, I tried affixing the spark plug(s) to the inside of the petrol tank but it still didn't go, so I took it to the mechanic" o_o yeah.

It is a full-cover insurance, but I don't think they cover repairs when it is falling to pieces?...theft, accidents (except for my sliding through the roundabout one...) and so on yes... But I don't think anyone would take off with my scooter even if I left the keys in....
