I don't really believe that companies, especially Square-Enix looks around at small-time peititions (or any?) to realize "OMG 30 people want the remake! Let's do it!" It just doesn't work that way... Of course we can hope. Who knows if they were lying about the Tech demo being solely that, a tech demo? Companies are made to lie anyway, it gets us going into mood swings which makes the world go round.
