Hm. Favourite and favourite. There are lots of animes I like, and can't really make up my mind about only a specific one. But since I watched RahXephon a few years back I've always had a soft spot for it. Haibane Renmei is probably my favourite drama series. As for comedy, there's only one, namely Azumanga Daioh. :3

I had considered RahXephon for a runner-up favorite, but Evangelion would still quash it.

Rahxephon just ownes it's predecesor soo much...having a non freaky main char and one kuhl "Love Story", it just owned NGE. I also liked the mecha fights better, the ending was cool too ^^
NGE is nice too, but it gets really redicoules after watching it a couple of times. Got me the first time I watched it, laughed my ass of the second time. Shinji is just too paranoid at some spots...
but hey, this is off topic ^^
still I'd like to add RahXephon to my favs =)

Hmmm... let's see, current favourites are Bleach, Gundam Seed Destiny, Soukyu no Fafner, My Hime, Samurai 7 and Samurai Champloo.

All time favourites would be Berserk, Scrapped Princess, Slayers Next, Mobile Suit Gundam F91.

Well when i think about it its definatly naruto, bleach, kakyuusei 2, negima( which i just started but i have read 1-4 of the manga), Love Hina,and grenadier and they are my favorites and u guys know they rock

Ahhh, I almost forgot all about Kannaduki no Miko. That series probably ties as my fav.

My favorite anime would have to be Full Metal Alchemist. The characters are, by far, the most memorable out of all the anime’s I’ve ever watched.

As it would be impossible to pick an absolute fav, I'll just list a few that stay, or will stay in my collection forever.

Beck (This show made me pick up my guitar again, now that's quality anime! And I can sing the intro and not get funny looks.)

Cowboy Bebop (Saw it first on Adult Swim back in '01 Got me through the x-mass season working retail at the mall...)

Escaflowne (First show to ever sit me down yearning for the next episode to finish, back on kazaa days before BT)

Gantz (After each episode I hunger for the next, sci-fi, human, and intense! My stomach gets all in knots and the episodes just scream by way to fast, awesome!)

Ghost in the Shell: SAC (I hated the original movie, and instantly fell in love with the show, now that tells you something!)

Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu! (whaaa!)

Kenran Butoh Sai (Fun, easy to follow sci-fi, with Pirates!)

Love Hina (I was sat down one day, before my Anime addiction and made to watch it beginning to end. I still have yet to find it's equal.)

Monster (Wonderful, simply wonderful! The coolest most instantly likeable main character I have ever seen in any show. I can't wait to see how Dr. Temma resolves the story.)

Otogizoushi (What a cool and refreshing style! Great story telling and a main character that realistically grows more mature each episode. I love it!)

Samurai Champloo (heh. These guys are so funny it hurts!)

And SunaBouzu is freaking awesome so far, but it's still too early to make any final calls.

There's just no way to pick just one!

Oi... this... is a hard topic. ;P There are soooo many good anime out there.. all the anime i've seen are all good and my favorites ;p if it were up to me to chooseeeee a fave one i'd die by the time I could decide which i preffer more xD lol Ok ok I sound stupid and weird, but I love/like/enjoy all the anime i've seen so far and they allll are my fave's

er...there are so many great series out there. it's so hard to decide. i guess Full Metal Alchemist, Gundam Seed (i refuse to watch gundam seed destiny until almost all the episodes are out...i hate major cliffhangers), monster, saiyuki series, and sailor moon (it's old, but i still like it...).
