well that's the total of it, to make a brand new computer from a thin air. Ask you father how much it actually cost you for making a computer from all those parts, including upgrading it o_O mine might be about 500$ not including upgrading. Though there are some older components which i still usable in my comp. My comp is put together by my brother too...but it doesn't cost that much for some expert to put it together for us though..

I mean, there's an area in Paris where a lot of shops are selling computer's parts and strangely they're almost all asians. O_o

But anyway, I almost do like SD. When I see one of my UltraGeek friends, I do the puppy's eyes and have them repair or upgrade my comps with the parts they previously told me to buy (and where to buy it, of course).

Thus, I am dumbfounded by the 2000$ Munto is talking about. $_$

Puppy's eyes are the best. :/

My brother actually earn around 500 baht for advicing his friend what to buy and make deal with the guy who sells it...why didn't your friend do that to you o_O /gg

well if you only want to watch anime and surf the net you're wasting your money getting anything above 500$

If you're a PC gamer tho prepare for some serious investments.

yea i'm a pc gamer plus anime guy. So my comp costed 800 bucks, and built by me. It had the best specs... two years ago <_<

My bro invested 2k in his uber pc.

It's a monster I tell you.

He still needs to get a new keyboard, mouse and 7.1 compliant speakers tho.

but a 3,2 ghz system with an ati radeon x800 vid card you can play ANYTHING on max settings.

Mine is pretty cheap, aside from the LCD there's nothing remotly powerfull about it.

Is it 3.2 ghz overclocked or normally clocked? 3.2 ghz is now the standard cpu speed for comps that cost 800 bucks in stores. In about 3 years your brother's comp's specs would be old by then.
