it had to happen sometime. I mean, the first 6 episodes was basically Iga killing a bunch of kouga ninjas. So to balance it out Kouga has to start a little slaughtering of their own.

The blind guy has the same technique a gennoske, nenki experiences it fisrts hand.

And there really isnt good or bad guys in this anime,. it's all about mindless slaughter.

I believe Nobunaga is dead at this point in history Crimson. It's the Tokugawa shogunate in power. Of course, I could be mistaken. I'm not up to speed on Japanese history.

Isn't Ieyasu using the Iga and Kouga as proxies to decide which heir should inherit the empire? That's why they're fighting I think.

And also assuming Ieyasu do not want his son's power being interrupted by any other lords using the kouga or the Iga on their side. He would be happy for both of the groups destroy each other.

Oda's era is definitely over. Ieyasu took over the shogunate from Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
