WTH!?!?!?! i was in the car with her and she said "You know i dont feel comfortable with you goin to school with all these blacks and asians and mexicans" My whole family already has problems, my whole moms side are alchoholics and i know i have my own problems but WTH

let me guess mid west or southern grown woman..?
grandparents are hard to work on when it comes to their views
they're just too old and stubborn to listen to anyone else, let alone their younger portion of their family
i'm not saying you should just let it not bother you, because if people did that i probably would be in chains and shackles working for a fat white man

my grandma told me that it was ok for me to marry a japanese woman, just not before she was dead so she didn't have to watch. Although to be fair, my grandma has an excuse. The Japanese army kinda burned down her home and sent her siblings to death camps back in the big war.... (we're chinese)

It's a good thing you're not as hot-headed as me because in your case I would have thrown a hell of a tantrum.

I already did it with my aunt (sister of my grand-ma) and with the parents of my previous boyfriend. And you know what ? I absolutely don't feel incomfortable with the consequences.

There's things that are just unbearable.
