lol...it's at the more peaceful corner but yea i still could hear them from afar
the war zone is around the down right area

btw...i fuckin' hate US' foreign ministry for meddling and condemning our violent affairs, which is like quite ignorant of them
it's basically killing off particularly hardcore brainwashed violent protesters, not the women and children settling in the shopping district...and yes they're all brainwashed, and I am quite disturbed about how they manage to get so many military weapons on their side (probably from thaksin who's been dealing weapons around the world right now)
Thaksin and his followers have been brainwashing them with a tv channel he funded, which broadcast emotion-led speeches and talk-shows that repeat the same thing over and over, most of the protesters actually know what they're fighting for, and most actually gave a very half assed reason that they heard from their leaders...heck they can't even define inequality

he's basically doing what Kim Jong Il and terrorists have been doing, except it's for the sake of his corruption money and being forgiven for all his crimes to the country =/

Lol. I've always wondered just how much any of the bread and butter footsoldiers of anarchic movements actually believe in any cause and how much they're doing just because it's a good excuse to be a thug.
Is there much going on in the way of shooting, looting, robbery and general suchforthery or is it more mexican standoffish? (I only see headlines and captions in the paper every other day, sorry - I haven't studied the situation extensively.)

But yeah, um, good luck and I hope something works out for your personal situation soon, Kas ^^;

well, I think you're much more well informed compared to other foreigners out there who believed the PM came to power undemocratically even though it's actually a coalition government with a process similar to "Hung Parliament" (u know...UK's politics recently?)...if they argue that it's undemocratic then that also basically means the previous two also came to power undemocratically

my personal situation is actually final exams lol...but this one is just the country's situation

Authentic chinese food.

But yeah nah, so there was this time, years ago, that a chinese friend of mine was telling me that chinese people don't really eat cats, but then I found an article in the chinese newspaper he was reading (there are several local chinese or bilingual newspapers here) which had a photo of cats in a wooden crate and asked him waht it was about, and he was quite chagrined when he read it was talking about cats being found captured and held in crates behind various Beijing restaurants, and it urged people not to eat cat meat because it carried diseases. It was lol.

I will state without shame that eating cute animals is wrong. Cows are ugly as fuck and only exist to die and be put on my grill.

But they're cute ,__, moomomomooo. Cute and scary. There was something recently about some US dudes who were ultraviolencing cows, wasn't there? That made me sad. Sad that the maximum penalty for conviction was 9mo jail or a <$1000 fine.

Actually its funny how they torture veal and its supposed to be better but I find it to be disgusting in taste. Like I said the uglier the animal the more I want to eat it. I think thats why I like fish and sushi so much.

Yeah, wild sushis are pretty ugly. But yeah nah, some fish are cute. I wish we could grow meat on, like, trees or something. So we didn't have to farm and kill animals to provide my dinner. ._.
Speaking of which, I had yummy ribeye steaks (a.k.a. scotch filets) for dinner. om nom nom.

edit: nz is reasonably high on the meat consumption index, apparently.
