they used to be cooler, don't diss my band man, they fuckin disbanded and only got back together so I could see em on stage >_>
still, cool that you even know they exist
Edgecrusher and Shock, no one can take that shit from em, most awesome songs I've seen/heard performed on stage.
Guess what I'm listening to right now...

Yah, track one and two on Obsolete... I listened to that album many times. It's just that their sound changed quite a bit after that album and I never really liked them after that. Who played bass on the reunion tour you saw?

I'm going to a Pixies concert in August... lol.

I love internet radio

give it a whirl, it's one of the most avant-garde stations on the air, before it turns into more top 40 garbage

I see some names I like there... and a few I dislike. It would really have to be for late-night insomnia listening.
Do I have to register to listen? How exciting. I shall probably not get around to it.

Oh yah, so I had a late night listen to a stream and it was a bit interesting. Skipped quite a few tracks >_> but yeah, more interesting than most radio shows.
The university radio station here plays all sorts of random stuff depending on which DJ is on for which show so that's pretty crazy.

But yeah, I heard one really great song on the show so it was well worth the listen. Went and got Royksopp's latest album because of that... I had forgotten that they were cool.

Fair enough; I don't like the style of music, generally but the particular tunes they make are somehow magically better than anything else in the genre.

Black metal is weird. I used to like it many years ago but don't really anymore. Generally.
I don't have a particular genre I like. rock, I suppose, but there hasn't been anything good in the last 10 years really. So just stuff here and there... anything except techno and hip hip and rap and d'n'b, really... though I like some of those sometimes. But not really. Actually, I don't like much music. Just a few bands/composers/artists from each genre.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

Anyone ever notice that this entire album is about stuff that either pisses you off or causes anxiety? I guess the only difference between the music that does that now and this album is that Pink Floyd doesn't sound like a bunch of pussies.

Those guys give me the creeps.. :/ I don't know why..Maybe it's because when i was little i saw the music video of theirs..What was it? Something about a wall..Anyway,and the video was some kind of an animation, which was really weird.. Argh

Currently,nothing..But i found this weird Polisg group, which reminds me a lot of Tool..So i've been listening to them for a few hours..And..not feeling good at all.. /omg

I forgot, that i can't listen to THAT kind of music whenever i want..I have to be in this bizarre mood as we..

Yeah, pink floyd are a bit of a wild card. If you ask me, they sounded like a bunch of acid-tripping pussies back then too, but everyone was probably too stoned to care so it was all good and they've achieved some sort of legendary rock status which affords them enough respect that listeners will actually give the music enough of a chance to appreciate its depth. That was also the first album to use special music layer sampling dance technology, if my trivia knowledge serves me correctly (I really can't be bothered looking it up), so all the helicopter noise and shop tills clanking probably blew a few minds back in the day.

Yeah nah, I saw a bit of The Wall back in the day and decided I didn't need to see more than a bit. Not a happy movie. Rather overrated too, if you ask me.

It's also weird how Roger Waters looks so much like Richard Gere.

lawl @ acid triping pussies! Yeah I have to say that Floyd was the emo of their time.

Miko that song would be Another Brick in the Wall, and yeah some of their shit is creepy too. On the Meddle album theres this song with a lot of weird noise then this guy says "One of these days I will cut you into little pieces!" and then another one on The Wall album there is a song called "Is There Anybody out There?" and it throws me for a loop sometimes if I am really high at the time

Right now I am listening to Tool - 10.000 Days (album)
