whats the most recent anime you've seen?

When threads get too long, they will get locked and dumped in here for reference.

Once again this thread has alerted me that a new episode is out. For a complete obsessive i'm pretty full of fail.

Thanks.

I watched all of R2. Pretty disappointed with season 2. The ending was massive anime explosion of bad.

been watching school rumble season 2 ep 2-3, the highschool survival game, exaggeration that rivals adam sandler. awesome.

does anyone know by chance if the 3rd season will be the last? I'm not following the manga...

gintama 79

yes I have been on this anime's dick the last few posts but hey, it is what I have recently seen so....

Just wanted to mention that this is the single handed funniest episode of any show I've seen in a long time. Anyone even those unfamiliar with Gintama owe it to themselves to watch it (you don't need to know the plot to follow this ep and it spoils nothing if you ever plan on watching later on)

the writers must be on crack or something to come up with something like this, but dayum I couldn't stop laughing.

To those that watch the show, it's the episode where 4 char's are stuck in the stalls with no TP.

Hm i really wonder,

i really wonder why you people complain about Macross. Of course its not a "Gundam Shit" or "Fullmetal Panic" thing , its Macross! Havent you watched the early OVA´s like "Macross Do You Remember Love" or "Macross Lovers Again" . Macross is and was always a big mix of music, action, love and other shit. Maybe you just watched the few eps of "Macross Zero" and thought that Frontier must have the same style. The only thing thats pissing me off is the fact that the main character is a fucking female looking dude. The music is good, the love story is kinda confusing and the action is also there. Also the fact that some people complain about "adobe after effects" effects , is kinda lawl. I mean whats the point ? Its doing its job and nothing more matters. You read mangas who a drawn on paper with a pencil. Are you gonna complain about that too?

Well i dont meant to troll anything or anyone , its just my opinion about this matter , so i reconmend , watch the old OVA i mentioned and then answer :D...

Same mix, different proportions. It's pretty close to being a musical that happens to have some dogfighting in the background. But yeah, seems kind of silly for someone to be watching something that they hate.

finally finished seire no moribito. at first i was kinda meh about it. i definitely lost interest in the series as a whole when i couldn't stomach the "chagum needs to learn street smarts by acting like a book fucking nerd!11!" episode with the gambling. i stuck with it and i'm glad. it was well done show. the ending of course had to be vague in order to leave somethings to the imagination but it was a little weaker than i hoped. >:{!

is blade of the immortal any good? just saw the first episode. not sure what to think of it, felt like the screen in front of me flashed about 100 people in a few minutes and at the end all but 5 were dead and i have no clue who any of them are / were.

They're quite different. Very similar in the story and art style, but the manga is a lot darker and the anime is sillier. There are some hilarious scenes in the manga but the anime just kind of makes them lah... but but's still a good anime.

I liked the anime o-o it was amusing and the dude is col and all the characters are insane.

Eve no Jikan 02... Is there such a thing as TOO awesome?

I love Isaac Asimov so it's no suprise I love this show(It even makes use of the three laws of robotics). I was mostly impressed by the art first, but I've realized it's actually the characters that got me hooked.

What I know most of all is, I'm completely blown away :o

Oh man, watching DMC tonight made my sides hurt. I can't stop laughing with this show.

I'm seriously digging Blade of the Immortal. It's not the most deepest anime but now that I got a feel for it, it gives you just enough info and background on the characters. I'm a fan of the style which uses "artsy" death scenes and I dig the music. The one tune they use a lot in the show has a 70's feel and I keep hoping Manji is gonna end up fighting some black afro ninja or some shit... its just a dream though.

Ga-Rei: Zero
the animation is quite neat, the action scenes are nice...and no it's totally different from the synopsis provided in ANN and anidb.net which is the synopsis from the manga, the anime on the other hand just adapted the concept from the manga
