NYC and their smoking laws

Postby SeeG » Mon Sep 15, 2008 1:08 pm

i remember a time where you could go to a bar, sit drink and smoke something
now you get thrown out because of peoples weak lung capacity, thanx to all the crack babies born within the past 20 some odd years
i dont smoke squares, but it did add to the atmosphere
dim lighting, faint whispers and cigarette smoke
the hell does everybody want to be so healthy for
die early like everybody else!!!!

It really did add to the atmosphere though. It feels wrong to sit in a bar or play some pool without that haze in the air.

Sweden has a ban on smoking in all restaurants, cafes, clubs and the like. Workplaces too...
All the clubs in Sweden smell of sweat instead of cigarettes! Oh joy!

funny how cigarette smoke clouded the natural FUNKS of the world
i.e., body odor, garbage, car pollution
things are just bad no matter what

gotto see the bright side of things, now smoking is an even more social activity, pitting the carefree smokers together in some designated place or simply giving them a reason to complain.
unity through bullshit.

Hahahhaha, tho they haven't passed that law yet, most of the places here (restaraunts, stations, ect) have the "No Smoking" sign..Luckily,no one seems to give a dam about it and continues to smoke..

That scene in "In Bruges" with the "fucking unbelievable" guy was pretty cool.

Well I wouldn't act like an ass like the guy in "In Bruges"
I'm a sort of passive aggressive type, actually I cough a lot when someone smoke around me so actually it's not passive aggressive it's more like how my body can't really handle those stuff

Hmm, there was this one time a friend and I were smoking and talking and his girlfriend started coughing because of the smoke so we wordlessly just sidestepped a couple of metres and continued chatting... then she went quiet then went away and started crying. I felt really bad. Lol.

Maybe! I suppose there was other stuff going on too, but it was still pretty rude of us to pretty much ignore her like that.

yea you should like "oh sorry, lemme move to where the wind doesn't blow at your face" or liek "maybe you should sit somewhere else that the smoke wouldn't get to you" and stuff

tho some smokers are really an ass and spit on the floor, and i unknowingly step on their spit...asshole...i almost slipped...

Yeah second hand smoke sucks. Its worse when people intentionally blow smoke in your face though, I've gotten that a couple of times.
I seek to do my best in all of life's endeavors.
It doesn't always work though Dammit.
