actually the problem isn't as bad as it used to be. The number of victims has reduced greatly but it's s till a big problem.

Egotism, and egoism are pretty much the same thing.

What good does national pride bring? I cant even name one. One thing it has brought many times is war. Very few would argue that war is a good thing.

As a libertarian socialist I think little to no government would be best.

You're making a mistake in equating the amount of government involved to nationalism. There is no direct relationship between the two. Radical republicans are probably the biggest flag-wavers in the US yet they want little government control.
