Please help me identify this anime movie

A couple of days ago a memory of an Anime film a saw a couple of years ago sudenly struck me,and i just cant seem to remember the title i can somehow remember the story and the settings and some sceenes, but hopefully that will be enough to get some of you to remember. so.. here i go.

I remember that the movie was set in a futuristic world with robots and the robots where revolting so there was some kind of fight/war? anyway the main character stumbles upon a robot girl wich is somehow important and they are being chased and there is this thing about a old radio i think that was somehow relevant in the story, and in the end i think the robot girl gets killed in a sad way : / oh and i think the movie is at least 4-5 years old... not 100% sure, but it sounds about right
