Bust: Real Drive (it's not as cool as it pretends to be) and Blassreiter (probably takes Dumbest Show of the Year award)
And dest you make it sound like we're bitter old men (which we might be >_>), but the truth is most anime IS crap... it's the few that aren't that keeps me in it though.
Real Drive is great

it's my second-favourite of the season (behind Chi's Sweet Home, of course) o_o It has cool animation and it's not really like anythign else coming out at the moment. It possibly suffers from Shirow Masamune something something... I mean, he just churns out a lot of stuff wit hthe same basic theme. But it's great anyway.
For Derrio:

My synopses:
Chi's Sweet Home: Awesome. Sweet stories about a kitten.
Real Drive: sci fi, robot hot girls, people who 'dive' into a huge internet mind thing. Except the mind thing is like the sea and the people who dive are literally divers o_O idk, it's cool anyway.
Daughter of Twenty Faces: Mildly interesting. A thief organisation headed by a charismatic dude who takes a young girl in tow and they foil bad guys' plots and take a token piece of jewellery.
Mnemosyne no musume tachi: Sci-fi, dark futuristic kind of thing. Big-breasted invincible woman runs a detective agency (lah) but it might turn out ok.
Toshokan Sensou / Library Wars: Great

Tomboyish girl joins a military force to shoot the dudes who try to censor books. It's a silly concept. A little political, a little silly. It's kind of like Pumpkin Scissors in that the army force is lame.
Shion no Ou: (last season but slow subs) o-o um. sports anime about Go and psychology. the art looks like Jigoku Shoujo. I don't really like it but my girlfrined is addicted.
Kurenai: looks interesting. there's a dude who checks out stuff adn likes to fight. I havne't seen it/
Kaiba: Surreal, fantastic, sci-fi bizarreness. Looks kind of 50's o_o but the art style definitely works in its favour to express the poignancy and such. cos lots of people die in dramatic ways, but it's not a standard gore/violence based thing. SO yah, 10/10 on the cool scale.
Amatsuki: Present-day-ish schoolkid thrown into Edo-era tokyo with fantasy monsters and desu eye powers. Meh, but idk, if you like that sort of thing it's probably interesting.
soul eater: shitty teen mahou shoujo with a twist.
himitsu: the revelation: shite. tries to be serious with a whole thing about getting memories from dead people and using them to eat murderers' livers or something like that . I forget. It was very dumb.
golgo 13 Again, I haven't seen it. I can't imagine that I'd like it. THe original movie was a super duper macho-fest but I get the feeling that this one is just cashing in and won't be able to capture the pure cheese awesomness of the original.
that's about it, afaik.
