Why is their hardly any h264 versions on the baka torrents?

I am curious why h264 versions are almost never posted on baka-updates.. getting where I have to use Tokyo Toshokan to find the release versions I want.

For the sake of the majority, we post the torrent link of the more universally accepted version of an episode (if available). This means if it's xvid or divx, then that is more accepted than h264

If we finally get that system upgrade I'm waiting for, then we'll probably be able to post every version available...

Actually more like it's upto the updater's personal preference
If you look carefully, ome links are H264 and others are regular XviD.

If it were me, which it never is, I would link the H264 torrents.

Not really...

Some groups ONLY offer H264, so of course we put those into the database
Some groups offer H264 first and then XVID later (in like a day or two), so we just use the H264 one since it came out first
BUT if both versions were released at relatively the same time, then we post the XVID version

We're too lazy to go back and edit entries so that all of them have XVID versions if they exist

Whilst i dont' know the dechical diferences, i do know that Dattebayo is switching all there bleach and naruto videos to h264. From what i read on there page it sounds like h264 is higher quality and widescreen or something like that.

Dude, you would be better off reading around quietly for a while before posting.
