It's a bad idea generally because it ruins your future. If you have no future, the point is to enjoy the moment as much as possible.

What confuses me is why people would act any different knowing they will die in 7 days rather than 80 years. Your fate is still death, so beyond working and doing the dishes, your priorities shouldn't be much different

From a simply selfish point of view, we weigh the gain of our actions versus the repercussions? The gain in robbing a bank is clear, but the repercussions change depending on how much life you have left. If it's expected to be seven days, seven days of jail or running from police might compare quite favourably. If the expected jail/ass time is somewhere between 7 days and a hundred years it's a different story? o_o

Hmm, I think what I mean to say is that the fate of a human is not "death" - it's "an amount of time in certain conditions then death"

I doubt banks keep note of every single dollar they keep in there. Tons of money gets exchanged repeatedly.

if I had only 7 days left I probably wouldn't do anything for me because it would be worthless, with me being dead
if I find myself in a nice mood then I might try to do something for others, (from killing bad guys to helping old people cross the street and telling the ones that you love that you do) well that depends on the mood
