He used to be a LotR nerd, knew almost whole Silmarillion in my head, not so sure i know it all today though, can prob recall alot of it. Great book by the way, Silmarillion and Tales from middle earth (I think that is it´s English name anyway)

I actually considered trying to read Silmarillion but the thought of reading something like a history book kinda make me avoid it, lol...but I still think Tolkien is cool, I mean creating his own languages what could be cooler than that
I got stuck with The Two Towers, some years ago....the part with Frodo and Sam's journey....must tolerate it this time!!

At least The Two Towers has a story. The Silmarillion reads more like an Encyclopedia
