That's one very common stereotype about the Dutch: just because there is a Red Lights district in Amsterdam doesn't mean the whole country does drugs habitually and hires prostitutes for their kids.
A lot of the Netherlands is actually pretty boring, rural area from my experience. The people are just pretty laid back and tolerant to all sorts of things which is great but that doesn't mean that they'd be morally decrepit.

I have a question for you.

How do you and your peers view Scotland's position as a part of England?
Do you consider yourself British or Scotch?

I am sorry that my questions are kinda confusing and not well worded, but since I heard stuff about Scotland's efforts for independence I thought I would ask.

Scotland has been pretty much divided by the independence frenzy. Unfortunately the leader of the Scottish National Party, Alex Salmond, is a complete boon who thinks that increasing taxes massively will help the drug addiction and unemployment issues Scotland faces.

Although I am proud to be Scottish, I really don't believe that it's worthwhile pressing for independence at this present time, what with the Scottish soldiers in the British army and other trade links with Ingerlund. I still call myself Scottish over British though.

I believe Scotland CAN be a part of a United Britain, and still remain independent enough to enforce its own laws and taxes.

However, the political status of both Scotland and Britain as a whole is in a complete shambles atm.
