utorrent baby. It rules a$$. Dl 3k and up 1k. Time is all you need. But finding torrents is the hard part of using bittorrents. That's if you set it like that in the options. :swt: usually dl at 50k

C++

Postby Slejpner » Mon Feb 19, 2007 10:48 am

One advice: If resource (cpu/ram) consumption is of any concern to you, go for one made in the C or C++ programming language. Here's an extensive list of those:

* BitComet (i use this one)
* µTorrent
* Arctic Torrent
* BitSpirit
* ctorrent
* KTorrent
* MooPolice
* Opera 9 (browser)
* QTorrent
* QBittorrent
* Shareaza
* sharktorrent
* Transmission
* XBT Client
* ZipTorrent

i remeber i was using bitlord for the longest time untill i tried to re-download the entire Trigun series one day but every torrent i found was dead. so screwing around i decided to try a dif client and got µTorrent, after that i went back and tried one of the same torrents over again and got it DWL'ing... didnt go very fast but hey i got it.

And when i started using µTorrent for my normal Anime Dwl'ing i saw a very noticable increase in my speeds, and it didnt slug my comp down as much either.

its also got a very easy interface and nice Que system and prefrence settings. If you haven't given it a shot...Go for it!

thay dont like bit torrent programs that dont respond or send incurrect information to thare tracks so thay ban those programs that do that

this helps the tracker to show states of the files currectly and to connect to other better and faster for any given files and less downtime in some cases

Switched to µTorrent after the programmers tried to have Azureus cook my meals, do my laundry, drive my car, file my taxes, clean my home, do my grocery shopping, cut my hair...

I switched from BitComet to uTorrent because BitComet used to consume much CPU on high torrent speeds, and so far don't have any complaints with uTorrent. Once you set it up, it's simple, and yet user friendly with neat little features and visualizations.
