It's amazing. I've ben playing it for two days straight, and I'm only talking about WiiSports. I haven't even delved into Red Steel or Zelda yet.

WOW.

Mind boggling. This is truly a next-gen console. The user interface, and mii's make it far superior to any other console. It's not just anohter "stick in and play" system like the consoles of the past.

Played some over the weekend.

On one hand side, they did a really good job at making video games appeal to non hard-core gamers and make it easy to play; and on the other hand side even my hardcore gamer friend said "shoot me, because I'm actually having fun".

And it's the only video game console where you might actually get a workout while playing a video game (boxing for example).

BTW Zelda is fun.

Yeah. Apparently Virgin stores are putting up Wii kiosks here so I'll have to go and have a bash while waiting for Ninty Europe to get off their arses. I was pretty enthusiastic about this in the summer but now it's kind of faded away since the launch catalogue looks unimpressive at best.

While I was buying a DS game today, two Wii were sold... I hope my parents go buy my christmas present Wii soon. I suppose that they'll re-stock soon enough though.

I've tried the Wii remote the other day.
I played red steel, I couldn't move the remote efficiently. Not sure if it was the other demo unit messing it up or I'm just not good at it.
The nunchuks are hard to master.
The engine isn't leaking oil....it's...it's sweating....from all that horsepower.

I saw a demo of someone playing Call of Duty 3 with the Wii controllers. Looked fun.

back on topic, wii doesn't look too appealing to me so I probably won't be getting one any time soon

Played a wii....

I have converted. This is true innovation. Wii Sports and MonkeyBall have elated such group satisfaction as has not been felt since SuperSmash first came out.
