I dated a girl that was 27 for a week. We're drinking buddies.

My ex was 29, while I'm 22. It wasn't a big deal at all.

I'm 19, she was 27, what a gap.

My current gf is 21, much more manageable.

Well certainly it's not going to meet up with the rabid expectations of pre-adulthood.

Being able to legally hang out in bars makes up for the loss of the excitement of drinking though.

Drinking is always good (as long as it's in moderation – remember kids, be responsible drinkers) but what does go old quite quickly is free booze. Company parties with free drinks are just a recipe for disaster.
Although one of the best meetings I've attended started with our project manager telling a highly-paid consultant to go and buy us a couple of bottles of champagne. There's something oddly exhilarating in seeing a guy who earns thrice what you make being used as a delivery boy.

Hey now, show some sympathy for the poor consultant. ...bein' used as a delivery person kinda sux, but it sort of in the job description in fine print so you gotta do what you gotta do to keep a job, i suppose

Hm, my company xmas party is coming up I wonder if there's free alcohol there hmmmmm
