Debater's/Politics Forum?

Having seen a number of good General sections go to waste thanks to social issues getting argued in them, might I suggest a "Debater's" forum be implemented? It'd allow for those who want to duke it out verbally to do so in a controlled and collected environment.

...or is that what the Whine forum is for?

I like that idea, 'cept let's not include religion in that. I remember starting a religion debate thread on the original Xenosaga forums years back and the next day there were 80+ pages of flaming.

I think if the flaming's kept in check by good mod coverage, it shouldn't be a problem.

After all, religion'd probably be one of the biggest topics in that section.

Well...yeah it would be a nice addition, but I'd be fine with the normal Off Topic Forum too.
