Bittorent Files Speed

Postby zincow » Tue Aug 22, 2006 5:36 am

Im downloading more than one file at once and the first one increases 10 min then starts downloading again if I add another.

Is it ok for me to download more than one file at once?

[Using UTorrent]

Also, I dont know if its ok to ask this here but does anyone know a good place to find Bath Torrents?

Sure you can download many files at once....it's just that it will distribute the bandwidth equally for each files that you're downloading

I prefer downloading one file at a time tho, it seems faster...since I choose what I want to see the most first...

its best to do one at a time. setting the up load to 15kbs a second and allow for as many connections as possible. Depending on your connections you can leech up to 150kbs a second.

It has 0/sec, but then it says this:

seeds- 0(5)
Peers- 0(1)

One of them just ended and I could start another. Has this happened to anyone else in UTorrent?

-edit-

I force started it and now its going ^^. I dont know why it didnt work before when I force started it.

that means no seeders or leechers are online so it means that you're in a hopeless situation...unless you open your comp for the whole day

Those kind of info are all typical for any kind of bittorrent clients, it just depends on the thing you're downloading....I bet they're old torrents, that's why your downloads are not going anywhere /hmm
