Wow, I expected to get supernova flamed after this post. Not gonna quote everyone I want to respond too, cuz... lazy! But I'll try to respond to the stuff that struck me.

In order of appearance:

KasugaSan - I guess I didn't read far enough to realize that EvilSquirrel's reference was ironic. Now my man-crush for him can continue.

Singyz - Waaah! Don't let what I say change your life! I don't need that responsibility. My karma's rotten enough already.

KunJinky - I will next time.

Cataulin et al- I have no idea what tl;dr means. I'm assuming it's not complimentary but whatever. Ignorance is bliss.

Lucky - Shoulda checked the dates on the posts I was reading. I just noticed a lot of posts, didn't notice how compressed in time they were.

Shiawase - Good point, love is relative. No-one ever falls in love the same way twice, as far as I know. Which is why Singyz shouldn't let what I say influence anything she does in real life. GAAAH!

Meant to respond to this too.

Don't think it really qualifies as gossip since I was just talking about my reaction to their posts and using that as a jumping-off point for my own rant. I guess you could think it was cheap of me to criticize someone who won't fight back - because they're not around any more - and for that reason it might look like gossip, but I would've said pretty much the same thing even if they were around. They sickened me.

I was dealing with them in the abstract, as representatives of an idea that kinda rubs me the wrong way. If you think my ideas are wrong-headed, fair enough. But I've never met these people and I have no idea who they are in real life. All I took issue with was how they presented themselves in a past I wasn't even a part of. If that's gossip, then it's some pretty abstract fucking gossip.

But whatever.
