Who's the best group to get Noir from? I had to download EL twice before I found good subs.

Might want to link the AniRec Database in the top post. That's all I'll say about it.

General consensus? The anime is piss poor. You're better off checking out the manga. As for the manga, it was fine until the Buddha arc finished. I believe it should've finished there. But some people here don't agree with me on that, so you may as well check it out and decide for yourself.

I suppose the appeal is the random sex and violence.
But everything seems uneventfull and dodges the fundamental questions...

Kinda like watching season 2 of Lost. >_>

I saw the first episode of Mushishi. Didn't like it. Very beautiful though.

Heh, had to register just for this. (No, not to berate you on misspelling.) I'll vote a +1 on Mushishi.
And for my personal recommendation: Gankutsuou. It's a breath of fresh air. It's what you watch when you've seen every clichéd plot-line and generic character there is, and you'll appreciate it like you appreciate Studio 4°C productions.

I liked witch hunter robin... I found the art slightly different from those coming out at that time and liked it. It has very little colour in the show (kinda grey/black muted colours throughout) so it makes the colours really stand out (when there is some). Plus anything to do with witches gets my attention.. It had some interesting twists in the plot.

and yeah wolf's rain is about ppl. who can transform into wolves....

My gripe with whr was the cg.
Looked like unscaled, stock 3DMax textures that were over lit with interiors rendered in axons of all things.

But maybe that's just me. >_>
