They're fucking boring. What is there to do on the damn internet besides downloading anime, music, and posting?

Webcomics dont update fast enough. There's just nothing to do.

Forum invasions are always fun. It's better when you do it in groups. Then you can get waves going and one guy can go proxy up a new account while the others are harrasing the staff.

I dont have enough time anymore to troll though.

Coolteens.com
otherkin.com
vampires.com
Adventchildren.net
etc.

You can only bug 15 year olds for so long.

Everyday, I read the news from different sources in different languages. That way I can avoid TV and its "One-Way Thinking".

"Read several newspapers or don't read any." My grandfather said to me. Thx internet for making that cheap.

I also often go to the sites of big NGOs. I like check how wrong the world goes. >_>

Then I learn how it works. Step by step as a hobby. From managing a large community to HTML, CCS (that is still in slow progress but I'll figure it out ^^) there's a lot of things to learn.

Then there's also quite a lot of talented authors who write original fictions of many genres.

I also jump from artists sites to other artists' sites. They always put links of their favourites and my knowledge and understanding of pictorial arts has improve quite a lot.

I also work on my studies with internet. But since it's mostly with restricted access sites, it doesn't concern you.

Plus what you said : posting, gaming, downloading.

I'd lost so much time and money if I had not internet for not even the half of what I can have and do right now. O_O

The only people that use myspace that can't be picked on are those that only use it to stay in touch with friends. >_>

Ive got a myspace, xanga, and facebook. I havnt touched xanga in years. Myspace is jsut for my high school friends. I'd like to try to keep in touch with some of my cose friends for more then two to three years for once. Facebook is the only cool one in my opinion. It hels out alot with uni and events and interacting between people in my FSA club in uni.

@Xandra: Would you recommend any artists? I tend to lurk DeviantArt(im a huge fan of nature and macabre).

Shopping. It's amazing how much cheapier some things are. Not to mention being able to track down extremely old books (yes, I'm a huge fan of tracking down books which are out of print - pre 90s).

Also it's a great source for planning what places your going to visit before you go on hols and for things to do... so much cheapier than buying a biased guide book.

Great for learning. Go learn a new language, or pick up a new hobby and sport. Since you like to dance why don't you try belly dancing? That's certainly something different, I'm sure you could probably learn all the moves off the net.... (actually do men do belly dancing?)

Apart from that, like Xandra I use it to read news from around the world (indeed it's so much cheapier)...

It's also useful in tracking down info for work and specially getting my hands on those hard to find journals but what I don't like it means that I am in constant contact with work... sometimes the internet is not such a good idea... but then again it does give me the ability to work from home occasionally.

The only other good thing about the internet is that it does enable to keep in contact with some of my best friends who are sadly scattered all over the world...

- Mark Ryden and Yoshimoto Nara

Thaat art style is a bit eccentric. Doesn't suit me very much.

Im a fan of stuff like "fealasy" and "pu-sama"

It most certainly is. Because more than a trend, it's a new step.

Those are the grand-children of the Factory. For many reasons. And money is not the least of them. Those artists are not romantics (or its modern embodiment : The Emo).

I won't talk about "pu-sama". It's nice art-work and all, but well.... it's not telling me anything.

I'm more surprise by "fealasy". Especially the constant jumps between the Bilal-like drawings and those who looks like comics. No in fact, there's a lot more styles than that. But none of them looks original. I couldn't tell from the first look whose drawing it is. And if it's not personnal, it's silent. So until she finally find her own style, I'll say quite skilled but not talented. Plesant but not really interesting. But I'll still keep her in mind. Things might change.

I enjoy the macabre genre way too much.

Do you know of any other flesh artists, like Luis Royo?
