It's similar, but isn't similar at the same time. It's hard to explain.

I'd have to say that my biggest motivation for playing this version over the original is that they have Yoko Kanno doing the soundtrack.

I have a feeling that it's going to be like Rose as well. Rose was a kiddie version of ragnarok. I mean, going to kill jelly beans and pumpkins? thats just bs...

hmm and why did you kill jellybeans and pumpkins?? cuz i went to harder map...and surely...it wasn't jellybeans and pumpkins that killed me....

i suddenly have a big craving for RO or any other online games after abandon it for 2 to 3 years.....guess i'll look forward to it....

I got to the other world before I quit rose. Turns out that I couldn't kill any of the yetis and or wolves that were there.

I've played RO for a couple years, then quit and uninstall. Then like a year later I redownloaded everything, played again and once again uninstalled it. Now I have a craving for the original RO and am kicking myself for deleteing the patches and setups that took forever to download. <_<

that's quite a normal feeling when you can't really accept the new things...but...in truth..you'll eventually get used to it....i think i have the same feeling too....i just like how archer...is archer.....I wouldn't like guns, it doesn't seem to fit the title Ragnarok.... /hmm

I used to play on a fully custom high rate server. It was so mcuh fun. Then it closed down and I tried other ones. Ehhh, not worth it.

Ragnarok is mostly kind of medieval. Having guns wouldn't really fit it. I've been told that you can switch classes ingame and use different classes' skills. That would be totally messed up. Imagin, a assassin being able to heal? That would make the game very stupid. I can just imagin, I'm PVPing some assassin and suddenly they use a champion skill like asura strike. I'd be like "WTF".
