Anyone watching this series?

After the first three or four episodes, It really picks ups.


Every episode is a cliffhanger almost, leaving you in a constant yerning for more, and when the next episode comes out, you are satisfied yet left yerning for more yet again.


its an incredible series, thats about to hit a massive point in the series I think.

Whew. I'm playing catchup at the moment, but I managed to knock off all the Eureka 7 episodes in my backlog.

I like E7. Not quite sure why. It strikes me as a mediocre affair, but it's alot better than most of the crap in the shounen action/mecha genre. A "comfortable pair of shoes" as Lynk put it.

It's rarely about the action with this show. All about the drama. I was growing bored for awhile until Eureka started being jealous of Renton. Though, the action is good when it wants to be. It's kinda surprising that the animation quality hasn't dropped during those scenes.

I'm rather curious about the relationship between Renton's sister and Holland. He's pretty bitter with regards to anything related to her, which strikes me as one of the main reasons why he is such a prick to Renton (not just the jealousy thing).

Oh! And I love Ray and Charles. Should be interesting to see how the Spearheads fair against the Nirvash.

They're such a nice couple. So forgiving and loving and all that jazz. Hmm. I wonder what happened between Charles and Holland in the past. I mean, it's not like he could be sore about Holland betraying the military. After all, Charles also left the military for whatever reason.

Gekko State actually has a mediocre force, only 2 LFO's the 909 and the 606, and the Nirvash, which up untill now has performed pretty unstable. And a Gekko Go that's good at running away. If they have to go up against against a multitude of enemies, they are f00ked.
However they do have some of the best pilots, like Holland and Eureka, and Talho is great at piloting the Gekko Go.

But with Ray&Charles joining the military side of the forces and hunting Gekko State, the balance of power seems to shift greatly towards that side. So I wouldn't be surprised to either see some back-up/upgrade/ssjlvl2 on the Gekko State side, or Ray&Charles leaving them alone/join them.


Now I could go and scoop up the raws till ep37, but that wouldn't be fun as I can't understand over half of it . And luckily the Eureka7 goodness is more in the story and conversations the characters have, than in the action.
