I like to think the Tachikoma in my sig has a rather authentic Gendo pose. X)

gendo is one of a kind so i don't think his pose could be replicated so easily. definately not by a young boy. oh, and dark see thorugh glasses are a must! =p

Well you haven't seen GitS... so for your information Tachikomas are cute blue little robots (like the one in my sig).

But, I must agree, GitS is one of those anime's that almost everyone knows about and everyone should see at least once. Akira is the same, and I think Evangelion could fit in that category as well, although I haven't seen Akira myself.
