Man, I hate high heels - you have my sympathy.

They aren't steel toes...but shoes that have metal inside over the toe area. maybe lucky will post a picture for you, but they look like normal work type shoes mostly...but I think high heels may be worse.

There are the most disgusting pictures in those things. We actually spend large amounts of time calling over co-workers: "Hey this is really disgusting, come look, half this guys foot got ripped of and they are reattaching it" Then the book gets passed around. Eye surgeries creep me out the most. There are always full color step by step details of people's corneas getting sliced up.

Think hiking boots boots with a metal protector coverring the toes. What really makes your feet hurt is the the sole of the boot wich is a metal slab.

it's like walking around with concrete sandals.
