So I teach a sediment lab. Last project for my students has been in progress for about 3 weeks. I have them in 3 groups, with specific samples per group. Lazy shits don't realize that it takes more than 2 hours (the scheduled lab time) of effort a week if they want to be done in another 3 weeks, so they are behind. Out of 3 weeks, I had one girl and one guy show up outside of class time, and they are still doing shit that should have been done 2 weeks ago.
As of this morning, the groups are no more (not my decision). So instead of them keeping track of what has to be done with their group alone (ie what would happen if they worked on a project in real life), I have to keep track of everything. So I have to make a spread sheet with every step of the process listed for every single sample (there's about 100 samples per group...aka 300 total). Plus make a How-to for the extra shit that was tacked on (this morning) to an already behind project. Yay more samples! Yay more time needed for them to not show up to work in the lab! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACOCKSUCKINGSUNUVABITCHAAAAY!
I hate work.
