Well, I kind of knew about egg and sperm and the whole biological aspect of it since 4th grade when we learned in health ed. But I didn't know how it actually worked until I was 14 or so.

I've seen a boy naked in 1st or second grade... but that doesn't really count since it's before puberty.

Well I learned about sex in about fourth grade as well. Though I saw porn magazines when I was in third grade because my brother's were so much older. Another benefit of older brothers I asked them about sex instead of my parents.

Umm... Good that you have older brother.
I learned about sex quite late.

Older brothers are a great source of information. Unfortunately, I happen to be that big brother in my family.

Well I've never really had a serious girlfriend and I'm 21. Not dating isn't such a big deal, eventually you will happen across that "special someone".
Incidentally I'm in love with a woman, but in her mind we are just friends. So not to ruin a good friendship I havn't said anything.

Well my friends say this lack of action is the reason why I'm stuck in the friend zone :swt: . But they don't have girlfriends either so they shouldn't talk :D . But yeah just being around her is enough for me right now. I feel young enough that I don't have to rush into things quite yet.

If you seriously have been being just friends with her, for a long time, then I applaud your endurance. I tried to be "friends" with this girl I cared a lot about, and it did nothing but cause depression for over a year before I eventually just stopped talking to her altogether. Bad memories that I'lll probably carry for the rest of my life, that one........

just sayin', if you got the nuts to tough it out, I feel ya.

and i'm drukm. so i'll sht up now.

Anguish. Depression. Pain and Mental Suffering. Why don't you just drag a razor through your testicles?

Nothing good ever comes from keeping yourself away from your object of temptation. How long have you ever managed to keep yourself withdrawn from a previous addiction? Say, you decided not to drink soda anymore because it was bad for you. But after a while, you just couldn't hold out anymore and drank soda again. This feeling, this emptiness is exponentially raised infinitely.

Now this is no mere fabricated cylindrical aluminum container filled with 355mL of carbonated fructose corn syrup that make your taste buds feel all tingly. This is something that not a single sense on your body could describe. Something from the heart. And you believe that you can just "be friends" and everything will be all right?

Or is it that you just don't have the courage to seperate yourself from her? Do you "love" her so much that even if you can't be with her, you will remain at her side? How do you feel everytime she hugs you as a friend, gives you a small smile as a sign of thanks. Does it not make you yearn for more, even though you know it isn't possible?

wow....didn't know you had that in you holy /no1

i learned back in the 6th grade that i hate the word love....it's the most abused word in our society, people walk around saying I love you like it's a greeting. The main reason for my hatred of it, is because i can remember my parents sayin i love you to one another almost every night, then my dad went on leave in korea for a year, and my mom had an afair...they would still talk on the phone every day, and every day end the conversation with
I love you, goodbye

when he got back, he found out and moved out of the house, i can remember them screaming and cursing at eachother every night after that for 2 years...How can someone do that to someone they loved....

So I have learned to Deeply hate the word, untill i can expirience it for myself

love is retarted like that
you can ask a person to not sleep around and they end up doing it anyway and break down crying pleading for forgiveness
when that happens maybe its not so much like "love" in stories, but an emotion like lust/spurr of the moment
you will understand more and be more confused when it happens to you

Love is just a misinterpretation of hormonal tendencies, not much more to it.

I wouldn't say I don't believe in love. I believe it's rather that humans are incapable of it.

I have very high standards for someone to be able to call it "love". Love is something very pure. The only time when humans are pure, are when they are born. As they grow older, they start to become desensitized to the world around them. The older you become, the more cynical you are, the more cautious, the more corrupted. Such a tainted perspective and way of life is not capable of harvesting this pure emotion.

I think it's admirable that you realize that, and separate yourself from that, because I think that word "love" is supposed to mean something really special.

It took me about 10 months to say "I love you" instead of "I like you" to my boyfriend, and even though he bugged me for it for the first 10 months I just didn't want to lie to him about my feelings.

emotions are relative things o_o maybe I can't have some amazingly pure ideal "love" for my girlfriend, but I can still love her more than I love anyone else so I can mean it when I say it. This thread is weird.
Brains are weird. I like hormonal tendencies o_O

When people spout out the word love, they usually are just trying to make a person feel special.

most people i know that go out with their boyfriends/girlfriends say that they love each other but i know that if something happened to either of them, they wouldnt care.
