Have you tried encryption?

options->speed guide->check "enable encryption"

I've already gone through that. Encryption only lengthens my download time by about 5 minutes, then Comcast stalls my connection, forcing me to restart the router and modem.

Qwest just came out with FIOS, and Verizon doesn't reach all the way to me, so I'm gonna check and see about switching. I really don't want to deal with any more of this tiered internet faggotry.
