You should feel free to discuss what you thought about the movies as well.

Ten Things I Hate About You

Put simply, this is my favorite teen-romance movie. I enjoyed the cast and the way they played out the story. A feminist indie chick and a notorious rebel who love to hate each other.

Syriana.

I'd like to tell you about it but I'm afraid the audience was too damn unruly for me to really appreciate it. Got my $9 back.

Last one I saw was King Kong. Damn was that a trip I won't soon forget. Blew me away. Graphics were great, audio was spot on, and the leading roles had legendary performances. Can't wait to see what Peter Jackson Does with Halo.

No way! Halo? Wow, I can imagine he'd make greatness out of it, unlike Uwe Bole who is goign to ruin Metal Gear Solid.

Peter Jackson directing a Halo movie? I seriously hope that's a bad joke.

Unleashed
Unleashed was an OK film. The first fight is pretty vicious, so it's rather disappointing when all the other fight scenes turn out to be somewhat boring.

Bewitched
I checked this out 'cuz I'm a Will Ferrell fan. The movie was a big let down. It was lacking the crazy antics that I've come to expect from his movies.

This week-end :

Tokyo boshoku (1957) which I thouroughly slept trhough. There's limits to my intelectual arrogance.

Lord of war which I drool through because Nicolas iz Da Seksy. But seriously it was ok. Violent and efficient but a bit overstated sometimes (If you're looking for the subtility of a Death and the Maiden kind of film : go away). I thought that the OS sucked a bit.

I saw memoires of a Geisha the other day.
I didn't think I'd like it but it was really good and I want to watch it again.

Oh, that movie was beautiful. I loved the scene where they go to the Garden. Oh my god, cherry blossom trees, peacocks, and the whole shehbang. It really was a beautiful movie. I would definitely watch it again.

I liked how it was so beautiful too, other than that the story was really inconsequential. I liked how it ended happily though.

I heard that as a movie, Mem-Geisha sucked.

I only saw the adds. Funny though, they made good use of camera angles. 'Cause the set they used isn't really all that impressive. It's this tiny little japanese garden thingy about 15 minutes drive from my house.

It was cool how they kept it in such a small area for most of the movie. Maybe it was just the theatre experience that sucked me in being relatively close to the front.

im gonna be complete honest with you, i respect konami and kojima way to much to even begin to think they would make a move like this

as for halo, i as fully aware that there were rumors that peter jackson would direct the film...but i stopped paying attention as soon as peter jackson himself apparently denied it was happening

Peter Jackson sucks now that he's not a fat slob anymore. MOvies based on games and other things should always fail, as games based on movies do.
