Tattoos/Piercings

Postby Vlastokov » Tue Feb 21, 2006 7:43 am

Anybody have any? Pics?

I've got one earring on my left lobe and I had two nipple piercings, but I had to get rid of them.

I want more earrings, but im afraid of getting into a fight with that many on.

and no tattoo's yet.

Just spent as ass-mongeringly long time looking for pics in My Pictures folder until I realised that I'd killed them all off with my format... only came across one extremely lousy one. If you care enough, I remember posting some pics in the "post your picture" thread when I first joined BU. I sure as hell can't be screwed looking through for 'em.

Me last year in Thailand...
Image

Again... sorry for the lousy quality... it's all I could find. I have a few on my left arm, one of which is visible, and one on my leg.

It's a popular Buddhist mantra. Mine's a little older/different... looks something like this:
Image

Heh. I managed to find some good closeups of the stuff I did for my sis, but no good shots of my own tats.

No piercings, by the way.

I have this one on the back of my right shoulder.

The back of my left shoulder is decorated with a wicked scar I got at work two years ago.

Muay Thai boxers? NICE.

I would like to have some kind of mantra on my skin. Actually, I wanted it done in the new ink that only shows under blacklights, but it is apparently poisonous. =\ Bummer.

Hehe...you got that tattoo?!? ^^ Would be so cool

Well, I have 3...or 5 tattoos...depending on how you count them
This is a pic of my second one, a day after I got it done so the scab is still on...It looks a bit more faded now and they didn;t do it as I wanted them to...It's going to be fixed once I have some money
Image
Have another one on my front hip, and the rest are up my left side torso
Piercings; one in the navel, several in the ears and I used to have one in the nose, which I took out

I have neither, more inclined to get a tattoo than piercings.

I'd get a tribal-ish/lightning pattern all the way down my right side, if anything. Except that I don't like how black tattoos turn green. That, and I haven't the balls to permanently mark myself so drastically, yet.

I don't see the point in a small one that noone sees, personally. It's art, but more than that, it's... hm. I guess I see tattoos as a cry for attention, personally. I've nothing against that, hell, an arm-length black tattoo, from neck to knuckles, is nothing but attention-grabbing. (examples: Alviss(Mar), Reiji (Bremen) my avatar(King of Thorns).

I really, really don't like the ones the skanks get. The ones just above the arse, the "look at my thong!" tribal or insignia tatt. Oh, and tribal bands suck.

Also, I'm not a fan of pictures as tattoos. Like the guy that had the naked Belldandy stretching across his back, or Elvis on his calf, so on.

The catpaws are cute, though, shira. I have to admit that. Not many people will see them, though. Heh. It's also good to see leaf has lost that metro blonde he was stylin' with a while back. Heh.

I have a badass apendics scar and it still have the staple scars that surround it too.

I used to have a dragon tattoo but it washed off after 2 days. I'm afraid of needles.

I would agree with Lynk that I see tattoo's as a form of art. It's an accessory to me. Much like my piercings.

I dont have a problem with bands, or whatever, since whatever, it's your body and I dont care if anybody else wants to fuck it up, but I personally dont like cliche tats. I would prefer something abstract. Some form of jagged tribal coming across my left shoulder and reach halfway across my chest. Or something down my wrist.

Which is a good thing that it takes a bucketload of guts to get, otherwise it'd be far too common, and become a cliche of its own! Heh. >_>

I'd prefer to put a tattoo where people are likely to see it. >_>

Why don't you turn it into a literal, "one-eye'd snake"?

If I get bothered, I'll dig up something to show what I mean. I want pseudoflame/lightning, twisting up and down my arm, I guess. Sounds silly in theory, and really, it is. But then, what does that matter? I like the way it looks.

Cliches? I try to stay well clear of those. I've sworn never to get things like dragons or roses/thorns or celtic knots or whatever.

I don't get tats without a reason. I think it's a bit of a statement thing as well as an art thing for most people.

And that pic is months old... the hair looks a lil dif again. (The metro hair is like years old).

Sorry, buddy... I don't swing that way. ;)

The paws are cool so long as they aren't strategically placed around cleavage. I hate it when I see women with the paw prints on their boobs. Chicks need to stick to the designated cute spots... ankles, above the ass, shoulder, hip, blah blah etc.
