And for every second someone dies.. someone gets born...I'm amazed the earth can actually cope with us humans growing and growing and using up all its resources....

But it would be kinda nice if we found a way not to get extinct all too early...at least we need to officialy come in contact with some aliens before we seace (sp?) excisting. (And preferably kick their asses or something along the lines ^^)

he primary reason people are dying from Katrina was from thecompletely inefficient way that the disaster was handled, on all levels of government.
The only reason for most of the flooding was because that all the money supposedly going for updating the levee and pumping systems was being pocketed by the officials and hadnt been properly maintained in 30 years.Also, there were thousands of volunteers available for rescue work and FEMA basically told them to f*** off. I myself during the disaster ferried supplies to those to old to get to thedrop off points.

It can't. I'd give us about 80 years before civilization starts to decline due to a lack of resources or nuclear war.

...this thread seems to have completely out of topic.....and I'm not keen on reading 29 pages to find out why so I'll just make my post and run away before the shinobis catch me.....

I'm just a simple University student (poor, but with enough money to afford internet and food....), living on the money I get from the state for studying (which is VERY little, I assure you, if I didn't have this cheap rent I'd be on the street before I could say "oops") , and I sometimes work at a restaurant to buff up my wallet.

Unfortunately it never lasts long......

also a univ. student. i thought commuting from home (40 mins drive) would save me money but i guess not...man those gas prices were killer for a while. they're better now which makes j3nnlo a happy driver.

i'm a Zeller's slave and a violin teacher on weekends to help pay for school + gas.
