Man, I'm totally in love with Final Fantasy now! (Although I hardly played any of the games from this series)

What can I say, well, in my opinion, Last Order is definitely a must-see anime movie! Not just to those die-hard Final Fantasy fans, but to all of the anime fans!

I don't know what attracted me at the first place when one of my friends showed me the episode. But after I watched it, I know now!

-Story-
Well, basically, it clears things up, for the sequel to the game Final Fantasy VII, the most popular one from the long series (if I do say so myself, and based on the opinion of others). The story clears many things up. Like how one of the soldiers, Zack, died in the game and anime. Also, it shows us how the one hero of the world, is now a crazy villain, Sephiroth, and the reason he suddenly turned berserk, killing everyone who crosses his path. I'd say the story is the most important, and the successful part of the movie Last Order. People do want to find out this, after they played the game.

-Character Designs/Graphic and Animation-
Well, I've always been a fan to the 2D graphic rather than the new 3D, which is popular now, and that's one of the reason why I enjoy Last Order a lot. Well, I watched Advent Children (half of it) first, but, somehow, I prefer the character designs in Last Order than in Advent Children, and especially with the design of Sephiroth, for I think he looks much better in Last Order than he does in Advent Children, in which I think he looks a bit too creepy... (Just my opinion!)

-Music/sound-track-
Well, it's okay, I wouldn't say it's too great, but, it's enjoyable. The ending theme, however, is definitely good, mark my words! I just love that one!

With all these great things, I do feel that Last Order lacks something, the length, only barely passed the line of 20 minutes. I do feel that it is somehow too short, for a great movie like this one... well, can't change the fact, even if I feel it here.

Anyway, I love Final Fantasy VII: Last Order! I just love it! I'd strongly recommend it to all those anime fans, whether you like the Final Fantasy series or not, or whether you prefer 3D over 2D. Watch it, and you'd definitely fall in love with it!!!!!

Waste of time, IMO, and I'm a hardcore FF fan.. xD (not hardcore enough to like X and X-2, but still hardcore :P).

This is completely useless if you havn't played and loved FF7 yet, and if you have it's still no good as you allready knew all of this :P

5/10 if you ask me, just for being well made, with nice soundtrack and a good fight coordinator.

Being a FF fan and all, I'd say it was pretty good, the animations were nicely done, and I happen to like the drawing style very much. Oh yeah and in FF7 I guess this is a prequal but the prequal is also played when you go to the town Sephiroth burned down it basically is an animation of that part of the game.

Also X and X-2 are awsome how do ya not like em!?

Ugh... This OVA makes the powerpuff anime look acceptable. After watching this I felt my love for FF7 shatter into a thousand pieces and I died a little inside. I mean Advent Children was good it didn't have a good story line but thats ok wasn't suppose too it was all about the action. This show the only thing i liked was the graphics (go normal anime style graphics CGI can kiss my ***). The action was terrible the premiss was stupid. If this dude can go head to head with Sephiroth he should be able to man handle a few SOLDIERS.

While enjoyable to watch old fav's go at it in Anime Form...

this anime doesnt tell you anything new if youve played FF7 (and payed attention)
its just sqaures way of rehashing old stuff to milk some money out of the most popular FF.

It is very usefull though if you want to watch Advent children but have never played FF... this wll give you the bare minimum of info needed to follow along to the main plot of the movie.
