New Anime Fall to Winter 2011/2012 I'm going to watch
Source: http://www.animeph.com/fall-2011-new-an ... eview-list

Last Exile 2 – Ginyoku no Fam: 8 years after the huge success of Last Exile, a second season has been announced, which will have a new story and new characters in the same world.

Reason: I watched the first season and loved it!

Guilty Crown: After the outbreak of the unidentified virus "Lost Christmas" in 2029, Japan has been under the control of a multi-nation organization called GHQ. Ohma Shu is a 17 year old boy who has a psychic power in his right hand. He can use the power "Ability of King" to extract tools or weapons from his friends. He has been avoiding making trouble for others but his life changes when he meets a girl Yuzuriha Inori, a member of a resistance guerrilla group called "Undertaker", whose members pilot mecha weapons to fight against the government.

Reason: I’m not a huge fan of mecha, but the plot interests me and I’ll give it a try!

Hunter X Hunter (2011): it’s a remake of the 1998 one. Actually I didn’t like the first episode much, because it had a rushed story-telling and it didn’t charm me at all. It was the same with FMA and FMA Brotherhood. But I guess, as in the former case, this new series will follow the manga more and also continue into new arcs (like Bleach, Naruto, Fairy Tail etc…)

Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle Kaito, a puzzle-loving high school freshman, is selected as a candidate for "Phi Brain". He and his friend Nonoha find an "unsolvable puzzle" near their school. The puzzle turns out to be a life-threatening "philosopher's puzzle" created by the mysterious group POG. After successfully solving the puzzle, Kaito is designated as a Solver and is joined by other Solvers as they battle POG all over the world by solving the "philosopher's puzzles".

Reason: I used to like Spiral. This seems pretty similar, though the plot sounds somewhat weird ^.^

Chihayafuru: It is about a high school girl, Chihaya Ayase, who after seeing her sister become a fashion model, is inspired by a new classmate to take up karuta competitively.

Reason: I <3 Hikaru no Go. Nothing more said.

Sengoku Paradise: It is the age of Warring States, after the death of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The various military leaders of the land have split east and west, and strive against each other for hegemony. The Eastern Army proclaims Tokugawa Ieyasu as supreme commander, while in the west, the commanders gather around Ishida Mitsunari.

Date Masamune, Sanada Yukimura, Honda Tadakatsu, Ootani Yoshitsugu... These and other heroes of the time prepare to take up arms. Some for ambition, others for their comrades. The stage is set for the curtain to rise once more over Sekigahara!

At least, that's the way it should be. However, these warlords get along unusually well with each other.

Reason: I’m just curious. The last otome game adaption I watched wasn’t to my liking at all, maybe this one will be better…?

I'm watching a lot things this season myself. It's shame this forum died D:

- Seemed pretty generic at first but I loved the animation style. Also the end of episode 2 has me kind of interested.
Fate/Zero - Obligatory Type-Moon. I've been really enjoying it so far too. I hope it turns out a lot better than Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime.
Guilty Crown - Expecting it to be like Code Geass without season 1 Lelouch awesomeness.
Kimi to Boku. - Some girl is making me watch this with her.
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon - I was interested because of the Sunrise label.
Last Exile -Ginyoku no Fam- - The original series is something I look back on as one of the first animes I fell in love with. I'm hoping this lives up to that nostalgia.
Mirai Nikki - Loved the manga. Yuno can rape me anyday.
Persona 4 - I really liked the game. Watching the MC's (Narukami) stat growth throughout the series via decisions he makes is pretty cool.
Shakugan no Shana (Final) - Obligatory Rie Kugimiya. I'm so tired of Shana though I just want it to be over.
Shinryaku!? Ika Musume - I love Ika-chan. That's all that needs to be said.
Tamayura ~hitotose~ - I'm a big fan of the Aria series (not Hidan no Aria). I'm hoping to get the same vibes I got from that series in this.
