All purpose anime suggestion thread!

Hello all,

I've recently decided to get a 2tb harddrive and was planning to fill it up. So basically I need recommendations on anime to download. I don't really want to download bleach, naruto or one piece as I don't think I can rewatch them from begginning to now (maybe when there completed I will).

Basically I just want good anime recommendations, I will probably end up dling anything that is suggested unless I already watched it and didn't like it. I like action, comedy, sports, adventure or romance type animes. Also I would prefer finished series but ongoing ones would be fine too. Thank you for any recommendations!

Here are some anime I enjoyed because they had the certain SOMETHING personally needed in order to watch an anime. I mainly use anime to escape reality.

Comedy/Slice of Life (lighthearted):

Nodame Cantabile (two music students who are total opposites get to know each other - and learn from each other)

Skip Beat (overbearing, colourful, motivating - optimistic and weird story of how a girl gets revenge on her famous best friend who actually used her by becoming a star herself)

Ouran High School Hostclub (reverse harem. a genderbender, though not intended. the main char just doesn't care about male/female appearance. a commoner is introduced to the exaggerated clichee world of the rich!)

Fruits Basket

Drama/Fantasy:

Saiunkoku Monogatari (subgenre: Historical)

Drama/Supernatural:

Natsume Yuujinchou
Hikaru no Go (subgenre: Sports)

Action/Fantasy:

Hunter X Hunter
Bleach
Yu Yu Hakusho (old school)

I started watching som Anime Movies lately like King of Thorn, Redline, Summer Wars and Welcome to the Space Show. They ain't all that new, but if you don't know 'em I think they're all worth a watch. Fun stuff to watch imo.
