Bleach is my all time fave atm, but a few other mentionable ones would have to be, Mushi-shi, Basilisk, Hellsing, and TOKKO.... but there are tons of good anime and hard to place any one as my real real fave!

The only thing recent that made it onto my favorite list is Mushishi (masterpiece) and Black Lagoon.

I think I might be getting repetitive, but Mushishi is one of the few series that I think are a masterpiece. However, I can't even really say why. It's somewhat like "My Neighbor Totoro" you simply like it on emotional level, and it's pointless to rationalize why. Though I can say things like, Ginko was one of the coolest characters out there, and that the whole concept was new and OST was amazing. But most of all, it put me in a calm mood whenever I watched it.

Black Lagoon had it's bad moments (like jumping up on a boat using a ramp, or taking off gas masks in a submarine where people died from lack of oxygen), but it was a cool series with cool and pretty unusual characters, with no clear good or bad guys (everyone was pretty bad) and a lot of action. I'm sad it's over.
