whats the most recent anime you've seen?

When threads get too long, they will get locked and dumped in here for reference.

Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen/Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal
...in a class of its own really...

Btw, I've heard both good and bad things about the TV Anime. Is it worth watching?

Yeah um, Kenshin TV is weird and rude to watch after the OVAs. It's a lot more kiddy tv friendly silly and a lot less serious. It does have a good story behind it though.

just watched the latest DMC. i love it but i wonder just how long they can keep this fresh.
:\

i guess this is the gamble you take when you pick up a series while its still being released as opposed to just watching it through when its been completed.

Mahou shoujotai taisetsu na koto (Natsu no Sora) is the coolest animes this season. Not counting Chi's Sweet Home, of course.

Watched the latest barrage of soul eater episodes. some cool bits topped off with an anti-climatic solution. still fond of the series though. i was hoping blair's fight would at least come through action wise but it came through in a very different and yet still satisfying way >:D

getting the lotion and tissues ready for the freshly downloaded naruto episode of the week now.

It stays the same for a while of misinterpretations and just trying to hide his identity, but things start to slowly change when Jack shows up and they start the hell on earth stuff.

But my god, the live action movie gives me the creeps.

Is downright fucking scary in a way, lol...

Oh, I really hope gene simmons isn't jack in the anime like in the movie, dear god no..

Macross frontier 22, so we learn the adobe after effects virus, erhm I mean v type virus, is passed like aids. Meaning Sheryl either fucked one of the bugs or was attacked, whatever. Fucks alto, hopefully giving him the aids also.

So crummy and boring, almost would have fell asleep if one of the crappy songs didn't wake me up.

Also had Grace grabbing her tits and rubbing them down like a softcore porn, seemingly as a "We're sorry for how bad this is," because it was so insanely out of the blue and random.

Ugh, why can't I stop watching this crap..

Slayers and DMC are the few I look forward to currently.

Gintama 61

I've been a busy little boy over the past few days...... went from no gintama to almost caught up lol......sad really (gotta love the post grad. life bye bye sheltered university lifestyle :D)

ne ways, when I started I was comparing gintama to an anime like school rumble, random funniness with a dash of plot here and there (I dropped/got sick of school rumble mid-way through second season).

but here I am with gintama, literally, at times, laughing out loud (a first for me), through all the eps and when an arc comes with people I've only known for like 2 eps, I'm actually interested.

Gotta say I'm impressed with this one, a good example of how to make an anime and not take itself too seriously at the same time.

/long winded speech

I should prolly' watch the new soul eater too someday maybe
