whats the most recent anime you've seen?

When threads get too long, they will get locked and dumped in here for reference.

I don't know where the story will go since I don't bother with the manga of respective anime series, but so far, I think this show has gotten better. Its got great animation, action and humor. Some of the characters (*cough*black star*cough*) are annoying but hopefully they don't get to much time in the spotlight.

I am interested in this Xam'd show of yours. Whats the best fansub? Is it as good as Naruto and where can I download it?

It's fine to compare stuff to Naruto though o-o Really.
I'd say Xam'd certainly has more substance than Naruto. It won't capture the hearts of the masses in teh same way, but I think the same sorts of people will enjoy it.
It's more like Evangelion... if you liked that then you'll like Xam'd.

[GGR]'s release looked a bit better than whatever the other one I grabbed was... but they're still both from crap raws and [GGR]'s one had a couple of dodgy grammar things going on.

you can't say anything about grammar or translation..cuz that's how the raws is....it's already translated by funimation....or sony...or sony (or bones) asking funimation to sub it

Oh wow lol, I didn't think of that. Of course it is subbed, becasue the raws are from American television.

Lol I'm cool.

and lol at Sony's dudes for crap subbing.

Nah...I don't think it's Sony that's in charge of the translating, maybe it's Bones' fault for choosing terrible typesetter and translator with bad grammar skills =/

but I won't complain since HD releases can also be found =P

Typesetting is great.
I just thought I spotted a grammatical or typographical error. I Kind of want to go back to double check but can't be bothered.

Finished Azumanga Daioh yesterday (Yup, hadn't seen it before). Great! Awesome! Fantastic! And so on.

Code Geass R2 ep17
Oooh, another "Lets work together, yay!" moment that went wrong. I think someone is running out of ideas here...

Also saw the first episode of Xam'd and I'm not sure what to think... I found it a bit interesting, can't really say much else. Gonna look for more episodes.

Macross frontier 18

I just have to say, this is getting retarded for so very many reasons. Being so insanely half assed about it's twists and the like. Not to mention them reaching some kind of insane laziness with the story/work involved with the show, for example...

First off we have how to counteract the V type virus:
Image
That's right, use Adobe: After Effects in your project!

Not to mention the plan for dealing with the Varja!
Image

Another case of simply using.... Adobe: After Effects, yes folks, to destroy a superpower alien race, you need to just use After Effects! Complete with a user agreement also.

God, OP/ED are terrible, the story is getting retarded, such trash...

Just watched these, and 5 eps of xam'd, and a few other odds and ends. Feels good to watch so much after not watching anything in a long time. Anime, how I've missed thee.

Oh serious? I was waiting for the second episode to come out .-.
I suspect that, given the popularity of this one episode and the manga, it will soon be gracing the airwaves at 11 rapes a second. Zing.
