Oh by the way,
someone please let me know when some fresh subs for Eve no Jikan come out. It looks super amazings but, although I'm sure the [Pireze] guy/girl is a great guy, he's subbed it on the fly and probably not especially well so I'd rather wait for a version from a team who ... nah, actually, I'll get this version :D and I'll tell you if it's any good. Yah... downloady time.

For some reason they all look generic to me.

So far I'm watching:
Nodame S2
Gundam S2

Will try out:
Mouryou no Hako
Jigoku Shoujo 3(wtf I missed first 2 seasons of this?)
Kurogane no Linebarrel
Alive Last Evolutionary Boy

Unless someone actually watched a lot of these shows and know of which are good.

You know what, for the first time in a very long time, I haven't found any shows yet that I'm cutting after the 2nd ep. Somethings odd about this season. Nothing is outright crap.

I'm surprised some ppl say good things about Tales of Abyss....and I always thought RPG game->anime usually aren't good but this time Sunrise animate their own game so....I might try it out....or something

nah. this semester is insane. i was happy because i had a really good schedule. but ever since one of the advisers saw me helping out the new students, she asked me if i wanted a job. so now i'm stuck being an assistant adviser while she leaves her post and runs around having fun. add gym to that and all of my assignments leads to not much time for anime and video games. at least i'm getting a break soon!

The new one piece OP is like slamming you with memories with the remix of the original OP.

respect for following that long assed series through anime...well haven't seen the japanese version at all, so I'm clueless if it's good, but localisation here got on my nerves real quick...

Indeed. One piece doesn't start to get good till about the 2nd season. Pick up the subs and go from there. It's a long way to catch up, but it keeps getting better and better as it goes along. The dub is absolutely horrid. They nerf so much it's insane, and the voices just plain suck. The dub in all honesty, can not be called one piece.

The original japanese one piece is one of the greatest works in all of anime. The dub is some hell spawn that shouldn't even be mentioned much less actually subjecting a human being to it. One piece's biggest strength is the characters, and when you tear them down to make it 5 year old friendly, you kill the entire thing. It honestly, is really hard for someone who hasn't seen the subs to understand that the original is not crap like the dub who damn near makes you want to cry seeing how horribly and completely they ruined the show.

I agree with everything Desterion just said, but would just like to add ---
I think one of the things that scare potential watchers away, even from the subs, is the annoying/weird/ugly art style... it grows on you though.

Just saw eps 372 & 373

It'l take awhile to get used to it, then you love the art style, as well as the characters. Another thing though is that their budget increases more as they go along. Next month One piece is going to start into it's 10th year. From the market shares in Japan, nearly 2x as many people watched one piece last week compared to the Gundam 00 s2 premiere. /no1

The worst thing about this season, is there isn't anything that can be filed under badass. Kurozuka tries, but fails. One outs is just the newest incarnation of kaiji/akagi. The closest thing seems to be gundam, but that doesn't quite feel right.

Indeed, thinking that Gundam might possibly be badass is not right at all.

Are any groups of repute planning to sub One Outs? They must be o-o it's of quite a fine pedigree. I'm getting m33w's, but I don't know what they're like yet... and I probably won't get around to watching it for a few weeks anyway.
