About torrents with DVD in front of them: No download??

I couldn't find anything in the FAQ's or anything about why I'm not allowed to download any torrent with the little DVD graphic on the left side of the download name. There is also no little download arrow to a link for downloading.

What is the purpose of such a listing when it seems to be unreachable? Is there any way to download it or are they there simply for show? I'm sure I'm probably missing something but it has confused me for some time.

Hi, this is in the FAQ's...the second question no less...maybe you should read the faqs.

Q: What’s a DVD label mean?
A:Many releases for older series are DVD rips. Most of these files are only available via IRC - check the Group info section on the site to find where the groups are located. Some of them actually do have BTs, but BU doesn't link to them... because they are DVD rips. Again, check to see if the group has a website and see if the BT links are there.

Thank you for the information. However, I hate to point this out but since you mentioned it...I DID look at the FAQ's; I went there first. On Baka-Updates main site the FAQ's second question is as follows: "What is Baka-Updates Manga?". On the forums FAQ (link is up there with Search, Memerlist, Usergroups etc.) the second question is: "Why do I need to register at all?". Please show me where in the FAQ it talks about the actual torrents? That might shed some light on things for me.
