Izumi, we don't know if he remembers Nishi and anyway I doubt he gives a damn. The others don't know how much of a little shit he is. Only Katou knows. And I don't have much hope about him. O_o

Izumi seems to know him and I believe Katou does remember him 'cuz when Kurono told Muscle Rider (heh) to res him, Katou was like "What!?"

I don't know about Izumi too.
But that Nis.. seems to be suprised seeing Izumi back to Gantz.

I have a bad feeling about this manga.
Don't know wether Kurono will be vampire like his brother or not.

they never explained it properly (one of the various plot holes that surfaced after the Buddha arc)

Yeah. I think Kurono can't be vampire either.
He's small and not as tough as his brother.
His brother is young yet he already is tougher and taller than Kurono because of Vampire.

But damn... I really wanna know where Gantz came from.
And how come human is just data. (Remind me of Shin Megami Tensei series)

But you can go and download it. It's a good "violent" anime.

As for the story... well... for me who read the manga before watching it, it was very frustrating... Damn too short. X(

IMO, shows like Boogiepop Phantom, Paranoia Agent, Akira, Texhnolyze, etc. qualify as "dark"
whereas things like Elfen Lied, Gantz, Hellsing, Berserk, etc. are "violent"

Berserk is just a typical shounen with 3 times the normal violence level... excessive violence isn't synonymous with seinen

If you read the manga, Berserk started out as a Dark and violent story. Especially when the story was about Gatsu's past and his life during the war. Then it became more and more violent after Griffin became one with the GodHand.

IMHO, Berserk is more of a dark manga with lots of violence in it. ( Not that I am complaining. :swt:

)

Back to topic,

I just finish Volume 17, so i don't know much about Katou coming back. I was hoping to have Katou and Kurono team killing all the aliens. But why o why did Kurono had to leave Gantz......

dark is something like gothic , gory , super scary , super freaky , etc..
i suppose a dark anime would be one which has little humour , very serious tone + with a doom-and-gloom atmosphere [cant think of an example tho ]
